Premier Amateur Sports, LLC was formed as a limited liability corporation in the state of Pennsylvania on September 9, 2009.
Since its inception, the Premier Amateur Sports' professional staff has managed a variety of sports programs, multi-sports festivals, and championship events. From grass-roots community events to National Championships - Premier Amateur Sports always develops amateur sporting events with the athletes, coaches, and families as our top priority.

Mr. Owen James Costello - FOUNDER

Owen Costello represented many things to many people, among them a beloved family man, dedicated worker and avowed community steward who gave of his heart and time to enhance the quality of life of his family and his community.
Owen Costello was a Graduate of Elizabethtown HS in 1964, BA degree from Wilkes University in 1969,Special certificate on Revenue Producing Facilities from North Carolina University. Former Ex Director of the Wilkes - Barre Recreation board and WB11 a non-profit downtown promotional Company. Owen served as CEO of Keystone State Games since 1983 - 2015. Owen was married to Mary Ann Costello of Wilkes-Barre and had two son's Brian and Jim who love and miss him dearly.

Jim Costello graduated from GAR High School in Wilkes-Barre, PA in 1996 and then from the Pennsylvania State University in 2000 with a degree of Bachelor of Science within the College of Health and Human Development in the major of Kinesiology. He is currently a Health and Physical Education teacher with the Wilkes-Barre Area School District and is the Executive Director of the Keystone State Games as well as a member of the Crestwood Board of Education..
His experiences include teaching health and physical education to K-12 students, Director of Events for Keystone State Games Inc., a director of summer activities camp in Centre County, and coaching a variety of sports. Jim resides with his wife Amanda and their two daughters Chloe and Madison.
