Keystone State Games Field Hockey Championship

TOURNAMENT INFORMATION:
Keystone State Games is excited to announce that the 38th Annual Keystone Games Field Hockey Championship will be taking place in Luzerne County with a NEW format that, for the first time, allows club and school teams from around the nation to compete for Gold! This is a USA Sanctioned Field Hockey Event and is run by an experienced staff and filled with high quality, professional officials.
This is NOT a Stay-to-Play tournament. It is very important that our athletes that require lodging for the 2019 Summer Games please consider staying at our sponsor / participating hotels to ensure the hotels that are willing to support the games are valued for their dedication to the Keystone State Games and all of our participants! ELIGIBILTY: Athletes based on divisions described below (Eligibility will follow the FIH Guidelines and male athletes are eligible to play in the divisions allowed by USA FH)

DIVISIONS & FORMAT:
U10 Division – (6 teams) 7V7 playing on a turf 50 X 30 yard field – 30 minute games
U12 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 7V7 playing on a turf 50 X 30 yard field – 30 minute games
U14 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on a full sized turf field - 30 minute games
U16 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on full sized turf field – 50 minute games
U19 (12 teams) – (12 teams) 11V11 playing on full sized turf field – 50 minute games
U10, U12, & U14 will play two 15 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime. U16 & U19 will play two 25 minute halves with a 5 minute halftime. Click Here to view the tentative schedule.
Unlimited number of players and coaches on rosters with roster changes and updates available until check-in on the first day of the tournament (changes & updates after July 15, 2019 will not make the college coaches roster packets)
TEAM RANKINGS: Teams will have the opportunity to rank their own level of skill during the registration process and we will match as best as possible even level skilled teams within each pool.
Athletes may play in multiple divisions but must be listed on the roster at check-in before the start of competition. Director reserves the right to make changes to tournament and/or move a team to a different division, as needed

ALL U14, U16, & U19 ATHLETES ARE ENCOURAGED TO COMPLETE THE FIELD HOCKEY PLAYER PROFILE BY JULY 16, 2019 - PLAYERS THAT COMPLETE AND SUBMIT A FORM BY JULY 16, 2019 WILL HAVE THEIR INFORMATION INCLUDED FOR THE COLLEGE COACHES PLAYER PROFILE PACKET!

UMPIRES: This event is open to all US rated umpires; Level I, Level II, Level III. We encourage strong Level I and II umpires to attend. Registration will be capped at 40 umpires. Contact Cindy Raney at binnycugs@gmail.com or 610-781-2124.

COST: Online registration discounts and early registration discounts are available
U10 & U12 Divisions – $450 per team
U14, U16 & U19 Divisions - $1000 per team
ONLINE REGISTRATION DISCOUNTS:
BEST SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE by Friday May 24, 2019 and receive an automatic savings of $100 per team that is registered.
SAVINGS: Register EARLY ONLINE from Saturday May 25, 2019 - Wednesday June 19, 2019 and receive an automatic savings of $50 per team that is registered.

UNIFORMS: Teams must supply their own like colored shirts with numbers and like colored shin guards. (Alternate color would be recommended for conflict, however vests will be provided, if needed.)

CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation Policy: If the competition is held, as scheduled or rescheduled, there is no refund of the registration/finals fee. The option is the individual’s or team’s as to whether to compete or not. If the competition is cancelled, and not rescheduled, and there is no opportunity for the individual or team to compete, then there may be a full or partial refund depending on the circumstances.
This policy is for all Keystone State Games and Premier Amateur Sports sporting events. Refund considerations may require additional paperwork and will be reviewed after the completion of the competition. Refund inquiries are to be emailed to: refund@ksgoffice.com
