Schedule: Saturday, August 2. Registration and weigh-in from 9-10:30 am. 
DIVISIONS: 
Juniors

Brackets in the junior divisions will be further broken down by weight into light, medium and heavy weight classes.
Teens

Brackets in the teen divisions will be further broken down by weight into light, medium and heavy weight classes.
Women:

Brackets in the women’s divisions will be further broken down by weight into light, medium and heavy weight classes.
Adult Male (Age 18+):

Masters Male:

Brackets in the master’s divisions will be further broken down by weight into light, medium and heavy weight classes.
ELIGIBILITY:

• An athlete must meet the following criteria:
  - A full-time Resident of PA, NJ, MD, DE, NY, WV, OH, DC
  - A full-time Student at a recognized academic institution in any of the above states
• All ages are as of August 2, 2014

FORMAT:

• Double Elimination Format
• Match Duration:
• Juniors:  3 Minutes
• Teens:  4 Minutes
• White Belts:  4 Minutes
• Blue Belts:  5 Minutes
• Purple Belts-Black Belts:  6 Minutes
• Masters:  4 Minutes
• Scoring:
• 2 Points:
• Takedown
• Knee-on-belly
• Sweep
• 3 Points:
• Guard pass
• 4 Points
• Mount
• Back Take
• There will be no advantages awarded.  Tie breaks will be decided first with a 2 minute overtime where the first to score is declared the winner.  If after 2 minutes no competitor has scored, there will be a referee’s decision.
• Prohibited Techniques for All Competitors:
• Slamming
• Neck Cranks
• Slicers
• Toe Hold
• Heel Hook
• Reaping the Knee
• Scissor Takedown
• Small Joint Manipulation (Fingers & Toes)
• Prohibited Techniques for White Belt Adults:
• Knee Bars
• Straight Ankle Locks
• Prohibited Techniques for Juniors & Teens:
• Any attack below the waist.

• Adults:

• Fee by Check / Mail $55
• Fee for Walk on $60

• Juniors/Teens:
• Fee Online:  $40
• Fee by Check/Mail:  $45
• Fee for Walk-On:  $50

AWARDS

• Medals are awarded to the top three competitors in each division.  
• Team trophies will be available to the top teams in both the youth and adult divisions.  Team points will be calculated as follows:  gold medal (5 points), silver medal (3 points), bronze medal (1 point).
